The above title may be a sweeping statement. Most likely it is. But I cannot help but to notice that the difference between the two blogging community view on the above blog advertising medium.
Somehow, if anything, Nuffnang can be seen to be very succesful among Malaysians bloggers given how many of them would support Nuffnang at all its activities. A very good indication can be seen in PetalingStreet.org. After each activity, you will see numerous pings from many bloggers who attended the event blogging about the event. Nuffnang can be seen as an auto members publicity machine which would eventually maximise their earnings for both Nuffnang and their members.
But when it comes to Advertlets, Malaysian bloggers in general are very unforgiving when it makes a mistakes. Bashing would be a rather soft word to describe the situation. This is one method which Nuffnang has managed to do without any hands on its members well. Malaysians being Malaysians somehow may have felt obligated to protect their favourite ads provider in favour against those they do not like, and in this case Advertlets.
However, across the causeway in Singapore, things, it seems are different. Singaporeans are more forgiving even when Advertlets made their mistakes and seems to continue to support that medium as apparently it does serve ads compared with Nuffnang who hardly serve any ads. And from the postings you can see on Ping.Sg, in general the community are more critical of Nuffnangs, if cheques are late, customer service dissatisfaction or rather no income earned.
Which is a better medium? Personally I cannot give any opinion as I do not subscribe to either. But it will be interesting to see which medium will eventually come out on top. Or eventually both are on top of their game.

As compared to Malaysia, NN ads for Singapore are much lesser. As of checks, it really takes around 2 months to receive after you cashed out, even for Glitterati members.
Generally it’s about 2 months. But we just found out that if you cashed out at the very last day of the month, you can get your cash in 30 days!
Maybe they use a stack system to process the cheques.
Why not just take blog2u then at least get the cash upfront?
Does advertlet has an office in Singapore? I think Nuffnang is trying to penetrate the Malaysian market more than the Singapore market, at the end of the day, its a much bigger market than Singapore.
Also, maybe Malaysians are easier to handle?
Don’t be stupid…Advertlets is a big scammer !!
